Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.
Brutus was abandoned at the Clark County Dog Shelter by his old owner’s family member. He came in and was sad, depressed, and in poor condition. He had severe skin allergies that made him uncomfortable, a horrendous mouth infection with teeth on their way to falling out, and other issues. Thanks to the Senior Pet Adoption Grant, we were able to get Brutus a full dental, get his mouth infection under control and healed, heal his skin conditions, provide allergy shots for continued care, and cover his adoption fee so that he could go to his new family!
