MN Boxer Rescue: KONG Toys Grant Report
How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
The KONGs received were distributed to our foster families for use with their foster dogs.
The KONGs helped our dogs beat winter boredom in Minnesota and have come in handy in wake of the COVID-19 stay-at-home order. Dogs use the KONGs for play, for mind engagement, and training.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.
In January, we had a group of puppies enter into rescue. They were nicknamed “Paw Patrol” since they were all named after characters in the popular cartoon. One of these puppies, Marshall (first photo), especially loved playing with his KONG, so his foster mom used it in kennel training. She found that he found extra comfort with his KONG in his kennel. Marshall and the five other puppies who traveled from Missouri to Minnesota with him have all been adopted.
