Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.
Bit Bit (first photo) was in a backyard on a cold winter’s day, all by herself. She was found and bottle-fed from the beginning and has since thrived!
After her first vetting, it was determined that she is partially blind. She doesn’t let that stop her! She’s confident, adventurous, and loves to be loved. Her favorite toys are battery-operated with motion.
Bit Bit is best friends with a small dog who also lives in her home. On many occasions, they could be found sleeping together. Sadly, her owner developed serious health issues and could no longer care for Bit Bit. It was a very tough, heartbreaking decision, but she loved Bit Bit enough to want the peace of mind that Bit Bit would continue to be loved in a forever home.
Bit Bit was adopted by a family that traveled almost two hours to adopt her! They have a dog whom she loves. They are actually coming back on Sept. 2 to adopt another adult cat from us as a friend for Bit Bit 🙂
