How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We were able to offer reduced adoption fees for cats over 6 months old ($50) and two-for-one adoptions for kittens and adults. We also offered waived-fee adoptions for our hard-to-adopt cats (those who were shy, not good with kids, didn't like to be picked up, etc.). This increased our adoptions by 25% in the slower months!

Ollie and Cricket were dumped in a feral colony as kittens. They were very scared and not very social.

After six months in our adoption center, they were still only social with certain people and when food was involved.

We had a lovely couple come in to see if we had any indoor/outdoor cats for their farm — and they adopted them both! Ollie and Cricket are now living their lives in happiness on a huge farm!
