Forte and Optima (first and second photos) were part of an unwanted litter of eight brought through Animal Control at just 2 weeks old.

Optima weighed less than a pound. A staff member took him home to get him through the night. He was severely dehydrated and, as the runt, hadn’t been able to get enough nourishment.

He did well and, with the consistent staff attention and with a little socialization, the whole litter ended up thriving. Every one of the puppies in the litter was adopted at our FREE adoption event on April 30, 2022.
