Sherman entered the Happy Hills Animal Foundation shelter through a collaborative effort with Randolph County Animal Services. He was one of 24 dogs being kept in a hoarding environment without basic shelter, veterinary care or nourishment. Sherman entered our program with a severe upper-respiratory infection, high heartworm-positive, unaltered, and lacking basic vaccinations and deworming. The Covid-19 operations grant allowed for Sherman to receive testing, medications and vaccinations while getting ready for adoption. Sherman has recently been adopted and is living the stable, safe life that he so truly deserves.
