How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The Kia Pet Adoption Grant helped us adopt out longer-term dogs by reducing fees. This making them more attractive to adopters and allowed adopters to overlook the issues keeping the dogs in our program for so long. Due to this grant, we were able to help out 10 pets in our program.

The Kia Pet Adoption Grant helped us waive Eugene’s adoption fee. Eugene (first four photos) has been in our program since Sept. 20, 2021. This grant has allowed us to waive his adoption fee to make him more appealing to a family searching for a family dog.

Eugene hasn’t met his forever people yet, but we are hoping that, with the help of this grant, someone will see his true potential and give him his forever home. You can meet Eugene here.
