How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
Kong toys provide needed enrichment to the cats at our shelter. We make sure the toys are used by many cats in our care. We strongly believe in and support active play with our shelter cats and are strong supporters of cat enrichment. Toys are a great way to interact with shy cats and they help them come out of their shells much faster. Kong's donation will contribute to their rehabilitation and forever homes.

Kong toys helped Creamsicle (first and second photos), Nadia (third photo), and Narajana (fourth photo), all of whom went through traumatic experiences. They currently reside at our shelter awaiting foster homes or adopters.
All three cats were found abandoned on the street, some with serious medical conditions. We do not want to say no to animals in need, and those three cases are very special to us.
Creamsicle is an older cat who needed to retire from the street due to his poor health. Although he was feral, thanks to the constant care of his feeders, he eventually came to be very friendly.
We strongly believe all three cats will find their forever homes in the future.
