How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The product was used for bathing our dogs at the shelter.

With this shampoo, we are able to bathe the dogs at the shelter. Many of the dogs who were bathed were adopted shortly after. We believe that the appearance of the dog plays a crucial role in his or her ability to get adopted.

Meet Fabio. Poor Fabio came to us at 10 months old. He had never been groomed or bathed in his entire life. Matted and smelling awful, this poor little guy was in so much pain from all the mats. We rescued him from a municipal shelter where, thankfully, our trainer saw Fabio’s potential under all that hair. After being groomed and bathed, Fabio was a new dog. The best news of all is that Fabio found his forever home. Smelling great and looking great, this dog was no longer overlooked by anyone. Thank you, Wahl, for helping Fabio reach his potential and find his forever home.
