Grooming of rescue dogs when they leave shelter/vet clinic

We always like to bathe and groom our rescue dogs when they leave the shelters or boarding facilities. It makes them so much more presentable to their potential new families.

How many pets did this grant help?

We rescue between 50-60 bull terriers each year in South Texas.

The Wahl grooming equipment and shampoo will help our rescued bull terriers feel so much better. We often pick up these dogs in bad condition and flea-infested. Bull terriers also have very sensitive skin and are prone to lots of skin conditions. Bingo joined our rescue last week. He looked so scared at the shelter and had that “dog pound odor” about him. He was in a sorry state! A couple of days later, after a good grooming, Bingo was feeling like a new man and ready to start looking for his forever family.
