Bella, pictured below, was dumped at East Ridge Animal Shelter in the late hours of the night by her owner. He claimed to have found Bella at a local restaurant, but was later found to be her registered owner.

Bella was in the care of East Ridge Animal Services for 78 days before being adopted by a loving family.

Ms. Bella was a favorite of both shelter staff and volunteers. She was always smiling and loved having visitors. Shelter staff moved Bella to the front office, lovingly referred to as the “nursery.” Staff took every opportunity to promote Bella on social media, at adoption events, and even at the local dog park during playtime hours.

Bella was adopted by her new family on Aug. 19, 2023. She has since settled very well into her new home with family members both human and furry.

Bella has a new dog brother named Doug. They enjoy spending their days eating treats and running around the yard. Since moving into her new home, Bella gets to spend more time doing her favorite hobbies of playing in the water hose and dancing with her humans.
