Lottie was adopted from our friends at Detroit Animal Care and Control but when she got home from her adoption, she jumped out the window of a lifted truck and shattered her leg.

The surgery and her heartworm treatment is EXPENSIVE so she was brought back to the shelter to make sure she got the medical care she needed.

And that’s where we came in. The shelter couldn’t afford that treatment, so we said we would bust her out and get her all fixed up.

Hearts Of Hope Dog Rescue took her into our care and had one of our approved vets provide the surgery to fix her leg.

Fortunately, Lottie has been adopted from Hearts Of Hope.
