How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant is allowing our cats to have a secure place to hide or scope things out while in our care. We are anticipating kitten season to hit us shortly, and these Cat Castles will definitely come in handy as we utilize them for our kittens to play and
hide in, and then use them for transport as their new owners take them into their new forever homes.

Sansa came to us scared and frightened. She was a super friendly cat but was nervous being in the shelter. The Cat Castle gave her security, as she could be inside or on top of the carrier.

Thankfully, she didn’t have to spend too much time at the facility, as she was microchipped and her owner came to reclaim her. During the reclaim process, we found out that she had been missing for more than a year, so the owner was super happy to have her precious kitty back.
