How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The Warm Bellies Special Edition Chill Pads were such a treat to receive! The greater Huntsville community was so kind and united in helping us secure the ample amount of votes to win the beds. We are always in need of pet supplies to put in our adoption bags (we just LOVE sending a lot of "shelter love" goodies home with them), and these beds will help new adopters quickly get their pets acclimated to their new homes.

We will be sending 10 of our puppies home with their very own Chill Pads in their adoption bags!

We had a litter of puppies that came in after they were abandoned on the side of the road and someone driving by saw them and brought them to us. The animal care staff voted to designate the beds to that specific litter. The photo shows one of those puppies with their new bed.

Although these puppies were not given a safe bed upon their delivery into the world, we are excited to not only find them FUREVER homes, but to send them home with new beds!
