How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Thank you for the Kia Pet Adoption Grant! This grant allowed us to offer reduced adoption fees for our cats and kittens. We reduced adoption fees by 50% for all retired and active military personnel. We also were able to provide reduced adoption fees for adopters who were adopting more than one cat or kitten at the same time.

Cannoli was a very energetic kitten who needed an equally energetic friend. Robert and Barbara were looking for a playful kitten for the spirited 5-month-old kitten they had recently adopted. We knew Cannoli would be a purrfect match for them.

Robert was a U.S. Army veteran and we were able to offer him a reduced adoption fee for Cannoli. He was so appreciative and happy that we could do this for him.
