Sierra was found on the side of the road in a rural area with the bone in her leg exposed. Everyone assumed she had been hit by a car. Upon examination, the vet realized she hadn’t been hit by a car, but shot. Over an inch of her bone was missing and what was left was shattered. The only option was to amputate the leg. Sierra is doing great on three legs! She is very sweet and wants to be around people all the time. She doesn’t have any problems jumping on furniture or into your lap.
