Paws4ever: Kia Pet Adoption Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The Kia Pet Adoption Grant from the Petfinder Foundation allowed us to waive adoption fees for seven of our pets: Sakara, a dog; Lily, Sam, Ursula, and Mia, cats who have been with our organization for more than two months; and Knox and Ray, two newer dogs who have struggled with behavioral issues since they arrived at Paws4ever. So far, Sakara, Sam, Ursula, and Knox have all been adopted thanks to this wonderful grant!

Knox was at Paws4ever for about three weeks but was already showing signs of kennel stress: pacing, drooling, not eating regularly, and excessive jumping.

We knew that offering a waived adoption fee made possible by the Kia Pet Adoption Grant would help him find a home faster. Within three days of waiving his fee, Knox was adopted to a wonderful home! Thank you, Petfinder Foundation, for making Knox’s adoption possible!
