How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Our kitty condos were very small and the cats did not have enough room to stretch and jump and play. The cat enrichment grant enabled us to purchase five larger "catio" condos and our kitties are enjoying the space! They now have the room to fully stretch out, jump, and play in a normal, cat-friendly setting. We are so grateful for the grant funding and our kitties are so happy!

Nate and his siblings came to us with ringworm and spent weeks in our isolation room being treated. Once the litter was cleared of ringworm, we moved the kitties to the new cat condos on the adoption floor.

Nate and his brother Marti were housed together and played all day long. When Marti was adopted, Nate became saddened and would sit and make air biscuits whenever someone would approach the condo.

Staff and volunteers all took turns cuddling Nate until his forever mom and dad showed up and fell in love! Nate is now living his best life with his new mom and dad.
