How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

With this grant we were able to vaccinate approximately 100 dogs and cats to prepare them for adoption or transport. Without these vaccines, these pets would not have been able to move on to brighter futures and more positive outcomes. We are so grateful for all of the support provided to us from the Petfinder Foundation!

Tempest came to us from a hoarding situation in Southern Louisiana. We received her along with seven other dogs and 17 cats.

After the long road of undergoing heartworm treatment, multiple lumpectomies for mammary tumors, and in-depth emotional care, she was ready to be posted for adoption.

Without access to the necessary vaccines provided by the Petfinder Foundation, her ability to find her forever home would have been greatly hampered. But instead, she was able to be placed with a kind, patient senior woman. It was love at first sight, and they are now inseparable.
