How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Many of our foster dogs are young and/or high-energy dogs. Enrichment is so important for keeping dogs happy and healthy as it reduces stress.

This grant provided our dogs in foster care with Kongs that were used for enrichment purposes. A happy, tired dog is much easier to bring to adoption events and meetings with potential adopters. Using Kong products for enrichment helped our dogs remain calm and stress-free. Thank you!

Woody has been in foster care for over two years. He’s a high-energy dog who needs to keep busy. The Kong toys are his favorites as they keep him busy for a long time so he is more relaxed. This makes it easier on his foster family to continue to care for him while he waits for his forever family.
