How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Each of our adopted dogs gets the pleasure of bringing home a new toy when they are adopted. We are always adding new foster dogs and puppies to our rescue, so we have a huge toy need. Toys help our new puppies learn, explore, entertain themselves, share, and have fun while they are growing and waiting to be adopted. With this grant, we were able to impact 100 dogs by purchasing a toy for each of them.

We recently got a momma dog named Betsy (first photo) who came in from Georgia and had NEVER had a toy. She had no idea what it was at first.

Within two days, she found her love for toys and is now a total toy hog. She loves any and all toys and loves to share her toys. It’s wonderful when we can make a big impact on a dog’s life, and toys did that for this little momma, Betsy!
