How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant allowed us to purchase puppy playground equipment for the animals at our facility. We usually have 35-50 dogs at our facility. Although they each have a kennel with indoor and outdoor areas, they enjoy getting out to run around and stretch their legs. We have several large, grassy, fenced-in areas for the dogs to play. This equipment provides added terrain and enriches their play.

Cora, a young adult female border collie (first photo), is one of the many animals who will benefit from this equipment.

Cora was found abandoned in parkin-lot shrubbery. She was terrified of human touch, so she had clearly been abused.

She has come a long way since she was found and is now ready for her forever home! She is a beautiful, playful girl and will make the best family dog. You can meet Cora here.
