We pulled Summer/Sam from The Animal Foundation and she had an issue with her leg. We took her to Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center and she needs surgery on her shoulder.

No ongoing treatment will be needed. The vet said it’s a genetic issue from over-breeding. Summer/Sam will be on four weeks of downtime and four weeks of recovery. While she is under for surgery, they will also perform a gastropexy.

Samantha/Summer will be getting her surgery on Dec. 5, 2023. She has had two infections that have stopped the surgery from happening, but she is on the books and will get the surgery she needs. Thank you so much; I will also post and tag when she is out of surgery!

Summer/Samantha is on a foster-to-adopt until her surgery is completed.
