How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant enabled us to replenish our Foster Field Trip supplies, such as our attention-getting royal blue harnesses with our logo and ADOPT ME! on them, and some very affordable kits of harnesses, collars, and leashes.

We have been dealing with a distemper outbreak, so field trips have been on hold, but we are now in the recovery phase and ready to start field trips up again!

Lady is an adorable fawn-colored pit bull-type dog who was at MAS with no interest for five weeks before going on a field trip on May 5, 2023.

Her field-trip chaperone sent us some great photos (including one of Lady wearing a Petfinder Foundation-funded ADOPT ME vest) and a bio. We posted them on social media, and Lady was adopted within the week! Those photos from that field trip are included here.
