This grant helped to cover some of the expenses for one of our dogs named Conrad.

He came to us with an unfortunate wound after being bitten by a dog. Sadly, he lost his leg, then came down with Babesiosis (a parasitic infection) from the bite.

Conrad had been in and out of the hospital, requiring many blood transfusions. He is on the mend now and has just one more injection left for the Babesiosis treatment. Once he is all cleared, his foster family will be his forever family!
