How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant allowed us to offer low- and no-cost adoptions for five dogs in our care: one senior dog and four puppies.

A long-term stay ended for a sweet senior dog when we were able to offer a no-cost adoption for her. She and her new dad are living a perfect, relaxed life together.

Two puppies were able to be adopted with low-cost adoptions and one pair was adopted together with no-cost adoptions. All are doing well in their new homes.

Sweet senior Lady Bird was with our organization for over a year. Her situation was further complicated because she needed to be an only dog.

With the help of the Kia Pet Adoption Grant, we were able to provide a no-cost adoption for a senior gentleman who is on a fixed income.

Lady Bird and her new dad and taking life easy together: chilling on the porch, snoring on the couch, and generally just enjoying each other’s company. Dad calls her his “little princess.”
