This grant helped us promote our senior bonded pair of St Bernard brothers to get a loving home together by covering their adoption fee and helping the new adopters receive needed supplies such as crates. We also gave them a card to a local pet-supply store for food, etc.

We had a bonded pair of senior St Bernards who were looking for a home together for a very long time.

They were originally picked up as strays together and taken to our local county shelter. They then became Grand Rivers Humane Society dogs.

We were determined to keep them together. These big, sweet teddy bears were named Dukes and Juggernaut. We were so thrilled to receive this grant, as it helped the adopters with the adoption fee and to get supplies and food.
