How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The grant was for Mistle via the Sponsor a Pet Program. The grant money will go towards his continued care: shelter, food, cat litter, flea preventive, etc.

The money donated via the Sponsor a Pet program will help us continue to care for Mistle, who has been with our rescue since he was a kitten. We pulled him from Animal Control on Dec. 14, 2014.

Mistle came to us from Animal Control on Dec. 14, 2014. He was in a kennel with two very feral kittens and, had we not noticed him, he likely would have been euthanized. He not feral, but he was was very shy, and for that reason he was not adopted as a young kitten. He finally found what we thought was his forever home in April 2016, but was returned (along with another adopted cat) in October 2016 after the adopters went through a divorce. Sadly, he’s been with us ever since. Still a bit shy, Mistle loves our Meow House and we love him, but we that hope one day his furever home will come along.
