Zoe was owner-surrendered to the local open-admission shelter. She was a senior shepherd and the rescue coordinator knew she wouldn’t do well and that I would be drawn to her. She never stepped foot into that shelter. The rescue coordinator brought the dog straight to us. She was a great girl and has since been adopted.
