One of our dogs got the medication he needed to get him healthy and ready to adopt. The sponsored pet was Gizmo (pictured). He has been adopted. From Facebook: “Gizmo is a wonderful little senior guy who loves attention and cuddling. He had severe dental disease and all of his teeth had to be removed to keep him healthy. He does not miss them one bit, but his little tongue sticks out from time to time. He just wants a home. He was rescued in October last year. He did get adopted and did very well. His mama was also a senior and her ability to care for him diminished. She wanted Gizmo to come back to ISHAS because she loved him and knew she could no longer care for him. Gizmo returned and acts like he never left and goes in his yard to play with his other doggie friends. He eats soft food well and is a joy to be around. If you love this breed and that Chihuahua personality, this is the guy for you. Please re-meet Gizmo!”
