Sammy was one of our residents who took a while to be adopted due to her condition similar to IBS. She unfortunately came to us with this condition and her owners had her declawed. Sammy was a loving lap cat who stole everyone’s heart. Many adopters were unwilling to take on her special dietary needs. Sammy would call to you as you walked past her cattery and keep calling until you came to visit. She immediately jumped in your lap and, when you tried to leave, would reach out and try to hold you. I am sending pictures of our precious Sammy who, very happily, was adopted. It was a perfect match and she is doing very well. Hers is one of many success stories at our shelter, and one we hold very dear. I included a picture of Sammy with her adopter; you can see how happy they both are.
