How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Under the Kia Pet Adoption Grant we were able to have the following dogs adopted:

Jackson (terrier mix) - adoption fee of $50
The grant covered veterinary expenses necessary to prepare Jackson for adoption.

Bree (Lab mix) - adoption fee of $50
The grant covered Bree's veterinary expenses and, on Christmas day, she was adopted.

We believe the reduced adoption fees expedited the adoptions of dogs in our care.

Bree (first and second photos) was a black Lab mix who was very active. She was with us for a while. She loved all dogs, cats, and humans; however, her activity level was a bit of a hindrance for some families. On Christmas day, Bree was adopted and she is now enjoying life with new parents and a furry sibling.

Jackson (third and fourth photos) was a 2-year-old terrier mix. He lacked confidence and was detached from his surroundings. The Kia Adoption Grant paid for his neuter surgery and vaccinations. After staying with us a while, he slowly gained confidence and started bonding with humans. He was adopted and now lives with two children and parents who shower him with love (fifth photo).
