How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant helped us prepare animals for adoption (spay/neuter, vaccinate, heartworm test) and helped us get more animals out by allowing us to reduce our fees. We held a two-day event, reduced our fees, and adopted out 21 animals.

Clayton (first photo) had been with us for a couple of weeks. He knew how to sit, stay, and fetch. One of our employees got attached to him, but couldn’t afford the initial adoption fee and everything else he needed at once. When we reduced the fee, she was able to adopt him and spend her money on other items he needed. The second photo shows him hanging out on his new bed.

Benji (third photo) had been with us almost a month and got adopted thanks to the Petfinder Foundation.
