Hobo's Home, Inc.: Kia Pet Adoption Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant allowed us to offer fee-reduced cat and kitten adoptions. We will allow for reduced-fee adoptions for approved adopters until the grant money runs out. This has helped place many animals already and allowed some kittens to stay together and be adopted into the same home. It has helped younger people who are just starting out in life to be able to afford the initial cost of adopting a pet.

M-m-m-my Sharona and La-la-la-la Lola were adopted out together to their forever home in Big Flats, NY!

They went from being surrendered to us in a cardboard box in a Dollar General parking lot and needing some TLC for some basic health issues to now being healthy, treasured family pets who will be spoiled as they deserve to be. We love being able to connect wonderful adopters and amazing fur babies!

Their mom says this about them: “So glad we got two!”

Thank you to Sharona and Lola’s adopters for adopting two! Thank you to the Petfinder Foundation for providing a 2023 Kia Pet Adoption Grant to Hobo’s Home so these girls could be adopted together at a reduced fee!
