Sweet Roman is about 10 years old, vision- and hearing-impaired and heartworm-positive. He had been waiting for a furever home for over five months when the Petfinder Foundation awarded us the Senior Pet Adoption Grant for him.

Thanks to the generosity of the Petfinder Foundation, his adoption fee was waived and his adoptive family received a year of flea/tick and heartworm prevention, a crate, a bag of Purina One dog food, and a bed for Roman!

Roman was adopted very soon after we updated his bio to mention that his fee was sponsored and that he came with free items thanks to the Petfinder Foundation!

The adopters were specifically looking for a senior dog and put in their request to meet and adopt him immediately. They came to our shelter to meet him and instantly adopted him. He has now been living in his furever home for two months.
