This grant assisted in Georg’s recovery and eventual adoption. Georg, a German shepherd mix (first photo), came to us as a stray with extreme bowel issues. We needed to start him on a special, limited-ingredient diet right away which, over the course of several weeks, completely changed his microbiome to normal and he was able to have normal intestinal activity thereafter. Georg also had extreme anxiety, so he was administered PL360 Calming Supplement and fluoxetine, and was ultimately adopted!
