How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We have seven older kittens, now cats, who weren't adopted when in their prime adoptable window of younger than 5 months. We are offering the discounted adoption fees to promote their adoption and make room for more neonatal babies. We still have six we hope to help find homes for soon, but Donna has been picked up! She's happy in her forever home.

It’s not their fault. They’re cute. They’re sweet. They’re young. They’re purrfect. But there are just too many cats, so it’s easy to be overlooked among the hundreds that adopters can choose from. But it was finally Donna’s turn! Four-hundred and fifty-five days later and Donna was finally adopted! Our Petfinder Foundation grant is helping our older kitties find their furever families!
