Through the generous support of the KIA Pet Adoption grant, Always and Furever was able to cover all adoption costs for 50 dogs and cats and place them in their forever homes. This grant helped support Always and Furever's mission to find each and every pet in our care a forever family.

Princess Peach (first photo) was rescued from a fire at a drug house over a year ago by another rescue and shortly thereafter gave birth to a giant litter of puppies. All her puppies got adopted out, but sweet Peach was left at the rescue month after month with no interested adopters.

The rescue did not have any staff to walk or interact with their dogs, so Always and Furever took over all of their dogs and that’s how Princess Peach came to us.

Her back remained mostly hairless from the burn scars, but her personality was nothing but love. Her new family (second photo) fell head-over-heels for her and now she finally has the happily-ever-after she’d been waiting so long for (third photo).

Princess Peach, as well as 50 more dogs and cats, were supported through the KIA Pet Adoption grant. Thank you, KIA!
