How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

With this grant we were able to host a special adoption event for our cats and reduce their adoption fees. Our cats have had very little interest lately, so we chose to focus on them specifically.

Our local Petsmart allowed us to host the event at their facility, where we had a constant flow of visitors and interested adopters. We left the event with 10 fewer cats than we arrived with and were so thankful those lucky 10 found homes. It was also very exciting to see two siblings adopted together.

Thank you for choosing us to receive this amazing award. We are honoring our reduced adoption rate for the next eight cats who receive approved applications.

The Kia Pet Adoption Grant helped Stubbles, who had waited six long months for his happily ever after.

Sadly, he had not received any applications while at the kennel, and a foster stepped up to take him home while he waited for adoption. Luckily, the foster took advantage of the reduced fee and adopted him at the event Saturday. Stubbles now has a loving forever home thanks to the Kia Pet Adoption Grant.
