Paw Project of Georgia: Kia Pet Adoption Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

It allowed us to provide some incentive to get our older pets (mostly cats) adopted.

How many pets did this grant help?

21

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Ziggy (first photo) was living at the Mall of Georgia. His leg was severely damaged and he was FIV-positive and covered in mats. We had to eventually have his leg amputated. He had a horrible haircut for a few weeks and he had a dental procedure done due to his severe periodontal disease. It seemed like he was going to be a permanent resident, but someone met him, fell in love, and now he is happy and healthy in his new home!

Pets pictured above who are still up for adoption and whom the grant will help include Teagan (second photo) and Annilee (third photo).

Pets pictured who have been adopted with help from the Kia grant include Shannon, Winter, Logan, Tangerine, and Pasha.
