TNR Taskforce, Inc.: Emergency Medical Grant Report
How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
This grant was instrumental in helping us get Clowny the leg amputation he needed to ensure a happy and healthy life.
As a rescue, it is hard to stay afloat financially with expensive medical cases such as Clowny's. We are thankful we were able to do this with the Petfinder Foundation's help.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.
Clowny was a cat who lived on the streets for years in an auto body shop. He had always been friendly, but the shop owners didn’t want to give him up to find him a home.
Clowny ended up breaking his leg, which the caretakers could not afford to treat, and they gave our organization the cat.
His foster was an amazing advocate for him and we tried to heal his leg with cage rest, but the fracture was too old and it was too late. He needed a leg amputation.
Fast forward to after the surgery: He landed himself an amazing forever home. He is the king of the castle, spoiled beyond belief and gets around amazingly well with three legs.
