How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
A lot of our dogs come from reservations where most were free roaming, and while some acclimate to a home very easily, others have a harder time accepting the kennels. The KONG toys help tremendously to keep our dogs' minds busy while they are learning how to not stress out in the kennel.

Sage (first and second photos) is still in rescue as she is not the greatest with other dogs. She is an amazing dog and her foster does so well helping keep her mind busy with training, but the KONGs really help in another form to keep Sage’s mind busy without the distraction of the other resident dog in the home.
The third photo shows Fielding, who has been adopted.
