How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We used this grant award to enhance the living space of our adoptable pets during their stay at our shelter.

We believe in providing comfortable living spaces for the animals in our care and use donated blankets, bedding, and enrichment toys made by our staff and volunteers to accommodate the animals' needs, help them feel safe and loved, and decrease their stress levels.

The P.L.A.Y. Ped Beds were the perfect addition to use for cats and dogs of the appropriate size in need of extra comfortable space in their kennel.

We have attached photos of eight adoptable pets using their P.L.A.Y. beds, and we have many more we could share. As you can see, all of these adoptable cats and dogs look cozy and comfortable in their beds!

She came to Faithful Friends Animal Society in February 2023 after being picked up by a rescue partner as a stray in December 2022. She recently spent her first night in a foster home through our Shelter Move Sleepover initiative, where dogs who need to be the only animal in a home get to spend a few nights with a foster family to get out of the kennel environment.

We are thankful to the Petfinder Foundation for giving this girl a comfortable bed to enjoy while waiting for her forever family!
