Humane Society of Central Texas: Kia Pet Adoption Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The $2,500 Kia Pet Adoption Grant allowed us to offer no-charge adoptions during a "Code Red" status at our shelter. Because of this grant, we were able to adopt out more than 40 dogs at no charge to help make room for more dogs in need of shelter services.

We are so thankful to the Petfinder Foundation and Kia for sponsoring our adoptions through this grant. It has made a huge difference in our shelter adoption numbers.

Sabine’s new family was able to adopt her without paying an adoption fee. This allowed her new family the luxury of taking Sabine to buy necessary animal supplies instead of paying an adoption fee.
