Our dogs who are older spend more time in the shelter than their younger cohort. Petfinder Foundation grants allowed us to lower our fees and get these dogs into loving homes.

We have some exciting news: After over six months with us, Cara will be going home soon!

Today, she met her new family’s resident dogs and everything went well in their dog intro! Her new dad had a business trip scheduled, so she will be going home with him when he gets back.

A HUGE thank you to our friends at the Petfinder Foundation, who recently awarded us a grant allowing for a reduction in adoption fees for some of our “long-term” pets – Cara famously being one! We can’t wait for her adoption day and want to thank the Petfinder Foundation, our volunteers and staff, and supporters for getting her there!
