Mr. Patty, a miniature pinscher, was injured in a car accident and this injury resulted in the amputation of his leg and follow-up care.

He was at Hillsborough Animal Services in Tampa. They were going to euthanize him. So we picked him up and took him to the vet immediately for surgery.

The surgery was a success and Mr. Patty quickly recovered. Walking on three legs posed absolutely no problem. After he was healed and ready for adoption, he was adopted in April 2023, within 60 days of his surgery.

Our volunteers found him to be completely leash-trained and he was a very affectionate, loving dog.
