Humane Indiana took Lola (first photo) in from an overcrowded partner shelter, where she had been at risk of euthanasia due to space.

Lola was a good dog but had been returned to the shelter three times through no fault of her own. Being returned and adopted so much made potential adopters see her as “difficult” and they became reluctant to adopt her.

With the Petfinder Foundation’s and Kia’s help, Humane Indiana found a great match for Lola and waived her adoption fees to ensure she was finally adopted.

Lola’s new family says they “feel like they hit the jackpot with Lola.” They say she is a total goofball who is sweet with everyone. She sleeps on the couch or in bed with her family, burrowing under the covers. Lola gets along great with their toddler, likes to play, and loves cuddling in their laps.
