How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant was used for our adult-cat adoptions. We received $500, which enabled us to reduce the adoption fee for 10 adult cats by $50. With kitten season here, the adoptions often slow for adult cats. The grant helped us to adopt out the 10 cats fairly quickly.

Just before we received the grant, we helped rescue 16 adult cats from a horrible hoarding situation.

The cats were living in a house infested with fleas. There was urine and feces in every room. Many of the cats were malnourished and severely underfed. With the grant, seven of the hoarding cats were adopted to happy loving forever homes!
