Partners for Pets Humane Society: Kia Pet Adoption Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Partners for Pets utilized awarded funds to waive the adoption fees over canines over 40 lbs. and adult cats in the care of our organization. Of the 20 pets who had a fee-waived adoption thanks to the grant, 18 have found their families! Thank you to the Petfinder Foundation for playing a part in this amazing outcome!

In September, Partners for Pets was contacted by one of our coalition partners, Pet Peace of Mind, regarding a patient in their program seeking a dog to help with their mental recovery from a recent health complication that resulted in many drastic life changes.

e were thrilled to not only help the patient find the perfect match, but announce to them that the pet was also completely sponsored through the 2023 Kia Pet Adoption Grant.

Tazz and Robin hit it off immediately and the two of them are enjoying life together.
