How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant helped us place older and senior pets, some with medical or special needs, and some who were bonded and sought placement together. Reducing or waiving their adoption fees thanks to the Kia Pet Adoption Grant encouraged adopters to meet cats and dogs that had been overlooked at our rescue.

We have placed many pets in loving homes through this grant, with several highlighted below (and with pictures attached!). We appreciate the opportunity to highlight our special-needs and senior pets through the Kia Pet Adoption Grant.

We had several very special cats and dogs adopted recently who benefited from the reduced fees made possible by the Kia Pet Adoption Grant:

Osa (first photo), who recently gave birth to a litter of healthy puppies, and suffered from TVT (a very treatable type of cancer) as well as a tick disease.

Fiona (second photo) and Shrek (third photo), senior bonded kitties who waited patiently to meet their perfect match.

Mussel (fourth photo), an FIV-positive senior who found a perfect place.

Hampton (fifth photo), who waited over a year to meet his forever family, who love his energy and take him on outdoor adventures

Granny (sixth photo), an FIV/FeLV+ senior who is now incredibly loved by her owners.

Beedee (seventh photo), a sweet pup who came into our rescue starving and suffering from a tick disease.

Ancient Egypt (eighth photo), a super senior who needed a caring and quiet home.
